The interview process included an initial phone screen, followed by a brief technical interview with the Engineering Manager that lasted about 30 minutes. After that, there was a take-home test which was estimated to take 4-6 hours. I'm not sure what happens next since I didn't advance. When I got my rejection, I asked for feedback on the take-home project, but I was disappointed not to receive any specific feedback about it. I was expecting some comments on why my project didn't meet their standards, and maybe some ideas on how to improve it, especially after spending 4-6 hours on it.

The interview was pretty simple. Started with HR, then a 30-minute chat with a technical lead, and finished with a 4-hour take-home assignment.

The Hiring Manager even said they decided to implement some of the solutions I submitted. However, on the same day, I saw the job was relisted on LinkedIn, which made me confused and disappointed because the positive feedback didn't match their actions. It felt like their hiring process lacked transparency. So, for anyone else thinking about applying to Wild Alaskan Company, just be aware that the process might not be as straightforward as it looks. Transparency and honesty are super important in hiring, and it's a bummer when they're not prioritized.
