Learning and Development Specialist
So there were 3 rounds total for this role. Only one round was actually with the hiring manager, who only stayed for about 15 minutes of the hour-long interview. The rest of the time it was with another person on the team who wasn't the one making the final decision. I emailed the recruiter for an update like she said she would give me, but I didn't hear back for a week, and then just got an automatic rejection email saying they went with someone else.
- Can you tell me about the software you're familiar with?
Business Intelligence Specialist
The interviewer was late, but was unprepared and did not have my resume'. I felt very rushed and was not afforded an opportunity to ask any questions. I was told I would hear back by such and such a date and never did. After a reasonable amount of time, I emailed to inquire about the status of my candidacy and was completely ghosted. I feel like this is another company that likes to say they care about people, but falls short in practicing what they preach. Thumbs down... cannot recommend.
- Tell me about a project you've worked on that you're proud of.
Graphic Designer
I had a first phone chat with someone from HR/recruiting. Then, a few days later, I had a virtual interview with the hiring manager. The manager was a bit late, which is fine. What was harder, though, was that she didn't seem very ready for the interview. She asked hardly any questions and didn't really dig into my past jobs or experience. It felt like I was leading the conversation a lot, which can be okay sometimes, but here it seemed like she wasn't that engaged or interested in me.
- What design software do you know how to use?
Sales and Service Engineer
It was a nice chat with the hiring business manager and country manager. We started off by talking about my university studies, my strengths and weaknesses, and my personality. Then, we moved on to my past work experience, how I approach problem-solving, and why I left my last job.
- Could you discuss your academic background from university?
- What do you consider your main strengths and weaknesses?
- Can you provide more details about your personality?
