I had a 30 minute phone call first, then an in-person interview with someone from upper management, followed by a 1.5 hour interview with a panel of 5. They asked good in-depth questions, but they were mostly what I expected. I liked that there were only two interview rounds before the final step, which was a design test to be done at home.

The interview process was an all-day event. It included one-on-one meetings with faculty members, followed by an opportunity to speak with current students and other faculty members during lunch. We also reviewed the program structure as a group. The faculty asked both personal and professional questions.

It was a fairly informal group interview. First, I met with the Dean. Then, I participated in a group interview with the faculty search committee. All of the faculty were really nice. It felt like we were having a group discussion more than anything. Finally, I was given a tour of the campus. I would have loved to work there, but the salary was much too low and they weren't willing to budge.

I chatted with the Assistant Director and then the Directors of Campus Safety. A lot of the discussion focused on why I was interested in the job and what led me to apply. They gave me a clear rundown of the job specifics and what a typical day would look like. Both were really nice and made me feel welcome on campus.
