We had a series of interviews and a test. We had to submit practice plans that were voted on by a group of team members. It's important to impress the people you'll be working with, not just the hiring manager.

They start with a basic screening and ask some resume questions. You might get one or two technical questions like the difference between overloading and overriding. They said they'd let me know the result soon. The interview was with different people than who were in the confirmation email. They asked a lot of situational questions, like 'what are your strengths and weakness'. The third part is technical, and I realized the company values theoretical knowledge a lot. They might assess my analytical skills. The interview was very easy.

Applied online and it took about eight weeks to hear back. The hiring manager called to see if I was still interested and seemed surprised when I said yes. Three weeks later, I had a panel interview. The questions were pretty basic, like about my strengths and weaknesses, and whether I prefer working alone or with others. Each person on the panel asked a question. They said I'd hear back in two weeks about a decision, but it's been five weeks and I haven't heard anything, so I'm assuming I didn't get the job.

Behavioral Other

The interview process was quite lengthy and felt drawn out. I found the questions asked to be irrelevant, and I remember thinking during the interview, 'Who even came up with these questions?' None of the questions touched on my leadership style or my past experiences; instead, they were all conceptual and philosophical. It honestly felt like a waste of time, and I had a feeling I wouldn't get a callback. It was a really frustrating experience.
