During the interview, for an internship position, they asked me if I wanted to have children, stating it would hinder my career due to maternity leave. After the interview rounds, the HR informed me that the manager really liked my profile and I was the second choice, but they opted for a man. While it could be due to better personality fit or a more suitable resume, it left me with the impression of a sexist environment.
