First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Whitcraft.
Engineer
I had two virtual interviews for the role. First was a 1:1 interview, and the second was a group interview with a panel that included HR people, engineers, and site managers. It was a good experience overall, but I would have preferred it to be in person.
- Can you tell me about your previous experience?
- What are your career aspirations for the next five years?
Facilities Maintenance Manager
There were 2 interviews in total. I thought the process was easy and direct. I felt like I had the job secured after the second interview when the Regional HR Manager came in person to meet me.
- Could you describe your experience with preventive maintenance?
Quality Engineer
The interview process was pretty straightforward. I met with two interviewers for about an hour. We talked about my education, my previous job experience, what I liked and disliked about jobs, and what the day-to-day responsibilities would be. After I was hired, there was an HR orientation where they went over benefits, vacation time, the 401K plan, safety procedures, and working hours.
- How would you handle specific situations that might arise?
- Can you elaborate on your approach to situations, particularly concerning Six Sigma principles?
Engineering Intern
I applied and got a call to schedule an interview. The interview itself was straightforward, and we also took a tour of the facilities. The questions felt pretty standard for an internship.
- What makes you want to join our company?
