First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Whistic.
Revenue Operations Administrator
A recruiter reached out to me about the Revenue Operations Administrator position. First, I spoke with the hiring manager, then I had three 30-minute panel interviews. After that, I had a 15-minute interview with the CEO. I was ghosted for about a week after the final interview, which was weird given the positive feedback I received. I contacted the recruiter for an update and received a generic response from the manager stating they hired someone with more technical experience. I later found out this wasn't true and that the person hired had more experience as a Mormon missionary, which seems to be common at the company despite their stated commitment to DE&I.

Software Engineer
I went through several interviews with this company. It started with a 1-hour session, and then a more intensive 3-hour one. All of this happened during my working hours, which was a financial hit for me. I'd mentioned my limited experience with AWS Lambda, but they still decided to focus heavily on it, and at times, their attitude felt condescending. After investing my time in these interviews, I received absolutely no feedback – not even a courtesy email to let me know I wasn't selected. While I'm okay with sending a resume and hearing nothing back, spending 4 hours or more on interviews and then getting ghosted is both disrespectful and thoughtless of someone's time. The Whistic team should realize they're being evaluated too. This whole experience has been a significant annoyance that I've wanted to get off my chest for a while.
- Tell me about your experience with AWS Lambda.
Revenue Systems Administrator
I had an initial chat with the Director of Revenue Operations. After that, I had a 90-minute Panel interview that was split into three 30-minute sections covering Business Mindset, Culture, and Technical skills. The interviews happened within a week. I did have to follow up a couple of times about the status, but I was just being proactive. When I asked for feedback, they said they hired someone with more experience, which I believe is true since I'm newer to Salesforce Administration.
- Teach me (the VP) something technical
Customer Success Manager
The hiring manager emailed me expressing interest and asked for an interview time that I coordinated through their system. It turns out this process is very automated since the hiring manager hadn't looked at my resume and there was very little screening before the actual video call interview.
- How do you approach client relationships?
