The interviewer was nice and the process was easy. They were very open about the next steps and communication was very clear. I didn't make it through to the next round, but that's ok.

The interview process felt pretty straightforward and I was genuinely excited about the possibility of getting an offer. However, the salary they put on the table was less than what they had advertised on their own website, and they were unwilling to negotiate. Because of this, I had to turn down the offer, as they couldn't meet their own stated compensation. I'm also inclined to agree with the reviews on Glassdoor.

I was emailed by the CEO to set up a phone chat within a week. That phone chat happened, and the CEO asked me a lot about myself and my background. He also told me about the company and his journey growing it. Then, I had a second interview via video call with the CEO and one of his colleagues. The colleague didn't really ask me anything for most of the interview; it was mostly the CEO giving me a preview of what a typical day would look like. It wasn't until the last 5-7 minutes that the colleague started asking interview-type questions.

I had two interviews. The first one was on Zoom, and the interviewer did not turn her camera on. The second interview was with another person in the department. I sent a follow-up email but didn't get a response. I really think the bad reviews on Glassdoor are true.
