First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Whip Around.
Customer Success Manager
The interview process was good, I felt comfortable and they were clear about role expectations. They emphasized that expansion (upsell & cross-sell) and retention are key in this SaaS business.
- Can you share an instance where you utilized emotional intelligence to manage a customer interaction?
Sales Development Representative
First call was on the phone. Then 3 days later I had an in person interview with the VP of Sales, HR Manager, and the Biz Dev Manager. Then I shadowed an SDR to see what the job was like.
- Can you share a time when you faced and overcame significant challenges in your life?
Client Success Manager
The salary was posted wrong. The hiring manager talked about the team and asked me some basic client success questions about keeping tabs on client health and handling an existing client base. We didn't really go into the deep strategy of client success.
- What's your comfort level with managing a client portfolio of 25-30 accounts?
Human Resources Assistant
I applied and then got a call to set up a phone interview. After that, I went in to meet the department manager. We talked about my experience and I did a short assessment. Then I met the CEO and got the offer.
- Tell me about your greatest strengths.
- Why were you interested in this role?
- What part of your last job did you find challenging?
