Account Manager
The hiring process took about a week and half from applying to getting an offer. First was a phone interview, which is normal for sales positions. It was short and I could schedule a face-to-face interview right after. I got an email with directions to their office in downtown Orlando. Once I got there, I knew it was the right place. The reception area was also the game room and lounge. An employee welcomed me and told the manager I was there. It's unconventional not having a receptionist, but it shows teamwork when everyone helps out. The interview took about 15 minutes. Later that evening, I got a call to schedule a second interview with the entire management staff. The next day, I was offered the position and started the following Monday. It's a unique work environment here, definitely a "Work hard. Play hard." vibe. Lots of diversity with people from different racial backgrounds.
- Can you tell me about your sales experience?
Sales Representative
Applied online and the recruiter called me a few days later. The call went well and we set up a in-person interview for the next week. I found the place okay but there was no reception, so I walked into a room and people started yelling for the interviewer. The interview went well and I felt good leaving. I got called back almost immediately for a second interview and I cancelled another interview to take it. The second interview also went well, they even said I'd be great in the role. I sent a thank you email but haven't heard back in over a week. It's a bummer not to get a response when you think you're in.
- Given that our representatives make between $45-75k, how would you ensure you are in the higher earning bracket?
Office Administrator
I applied for this role and got an interview pretty quickly! It was a two-part interview process. The first part was supposed to be with two people from the support team. When I got there, there was no one at the front to greet me, and I had to find someone to get me to the right place. I ended up only meeting one person after waiting about 10 minutes. After that interview, I got a text saying I could do the second interview later that day, but I missed it because I was already heading home. I went back later that week for the second interview with the owner. Again, no one to greet me. I waited 20 minutes past the scheduled time for the owner, who didn't even have my resume initially. He asked about any other professional work I'd done, and I mentioned a side gig. He seemed concerned about how it might affect my regular work, even after I assured him it never interfered before. When I asked questions about the company and the job, he didn't really answer them directly, giving vague responses. I didn't get the job, and they never even let me know, just ghosted me after two interviews, which felt pretty rude.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- How would you organize a company event for staff?
- Tell me about any other professional work you've done.
Customer Service Representative
I got an email to set up a phone interview. The phone interviewer asked general questions. If they liked my phone voice and answers, they'd give me a face to face interview. Staff was nice and made me feel comfortable like I already had the job. They basically asked the same questions as the phone interview and about availability. They said they'd call to let me know but NEVER called. I emailed for a follow-up but got NO ANSWER. At least they could let candidates know if they got the job or not. That really sucked...
