Lab Manager
It took more than two months to get a response after I applied, and I had to email them to check if they were still considering me. The salary they offered was quite low and they said it wasn't negotiable because of HR policies.
- Just checking if you're still keen on continuing with the hiring process?
Admin Assistant
I spoke with the person whose job I would be taking over. It was a bit strange, and while they were nice, they were very upfront about the fact that there was no opportunity for advancement there, which made me decide against the role.
- What's your approach to handling calls from upset individuals?
LIS Tech Support
I got a call from someone in the department first. Then we set up a time to come in and talk more about working there. The interview was pretty chill and the people were cool. They asked me to go over my past jobs and some other stuff about myself.
- Can you share an instance where you encountered a failure and explain the reasons behind it?
Tour Guide
They asked me about my speaking skills and why I was interested in this position. They also asked about my availability and if I was comfortable with public speaking, as I'd be addressing large groups. It was a straightforward process!
