First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Wharton-Smith, Inc..
Senior Project Manager
I sent in my online application and resume. They called me back the same day (Friday) for a 15-minute "phone screen" on Monday at 9 am. It's been almost a month since then and I still haven't heard back from the "recruiter" even after trying to reach them multiple times.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Intern
The interview process was super fast. They asked me some questions about my experience with software, my 5-year goals, and if I knew how to send emails and talk on the phone. It felt like they assumed I already had experience for the role instead of it being a learning opportunity. They didn't ask anything about my school, classes, or why I was interested in the company, unlike other intern interviews I've had.
- What are your career aspirations for the next five years?
Project Engineer
So, I had a video interview that lasted about an hour, and then we did a three-hour tour of the site. They didn't really ask me tons of questions, they mostly just talked about what they're currently working on. They seemed to like me and said they wanted to hire me, but then they just stopped responding.
- Can you describe your responsibilities in your last job?
Intern
I got a call about the intern opening and we scheduled an in-person interview. I interviewed with a Project Engineer and an Assistant Project Manager for the Waste Water role. The next day, they called me with an offer.
- Can you tell me about your current college education?
- What personal agendas do you have?
- What do you know about waste water treatment processes?
