The interview process at Whalar is structured, thoughtful, and well-paced, lasting about 4 to 5 weeks. It involves five stages: first, an HR Screening; then, a Technical Interview with the Head of AI and Head of Business Intelligence; followed by a Take-Home Task; next, an Interview with Team Leads; and finally, a Final Interview with the CTO. The interviews focus on practical, real-world applications and problem-solving relevant to the role, feeling more like conversations with potential colleagues than a formal evaluation. The experience was smooth, respectful, and engaging, with every interaction feeling meaningful and well-thought-out.

The interview was a 4 step process. A talk with the HR, then with the Director and Head of AI of the company, a home assignment and the discussion with the team members. The whole process was smooth and the HR communicated everything really well. Veronica (HR) is really an amazing person, she kept me in the loop. Literally one of the best HRs I have seen. Although I couldn't pass the final round, it was a great experience.

I learned about the company from a recruiter I connected with on LinkedIn. We had an initial chat where I learned more about the company and the role, and it went well. Then, I had a technical interview with the AI Director and Head of Data. While I enjoyed talking with them, they ended up hiring other candidates whose experience was a better match. I'm thankful for the experience and what I learned.
