The interview process involved three rounds. First, a screening round with the Talent Acquisition Manager. Second, an interview with the Leasing Manager and Leasing Director. Finally, a third round with the Pod Director and Head of Sales.

This was a six-interview process. It kicked off with HR, then a chat with an East Coast manager. After that, I had two interviews with sales and operations folks at the city level where I'd be working, and then two more with different sales managers. Three of these were video calls, and three were in-person. The rescheduling was constant, usually happening within an hour of the scheduled time, and it happened three times. The last two interviews with higher-level managers weren't very productive; they seemed unprepared and mostly asked 'getting-to-know-you' questions. Communication has been really scarce since the final interview. WeWork really should let candidates know if they're going to invest the time for six interviews. Still no clear answer on whether they're moving forward.

Arrive a little before your interview to ask for your contact in the lobby, which can sometimes be busy. The staff is generally very friendly and will tell you from the start to think of a case for offering their spaces. At the beginning of the interview, they will ask you to talk a bit about your career and your experience in prospecting from scratch. Then they will ask what you understand about WeWork's offer, which is your chance to mention what you know about the company. Afterwards, we move on to the role play. In my interview, the case involved two partners interested in an office space. You need to identify if they already have a budget and a timeline for executing it. Remember to always close by confirming the next step.
