So I was invited for an interview with WeTravel and the first thing that happened was that I clicked the link to select a time and it said no slots were available. I waited 3 days for a response from support, but nothing. I ended up contacting the CEO who responded immediately and fixed it within an hour. I selected a time slot for the following week. The interview itself was a disaster. The manager was late and seemed disengaged. They asked me to lead the conversation but gave vague answers. They didn't ask about my experience and I had to simplify my answers. I got a rejection email late in the evening.

The interview process was thorough and professional, well-structured and efficient. Most of it was conducted online, but they did mention that the final stage would be in person. The interview style felt more like Silicon Valley than European.

I had a call with HR. It was a pretty standard interview where they asked about my motivation to join the company, why I was looking to make a switch, and for me to talk about a proud accomplishment. They also wanted to know what I knew about WeTravel, like what the company does, its founding year, and its latest investment. The call was scheduled for 45 minutes but finished early at 25 minutes. The interviewer didn't follow up on my answers, and I felt like they had already decided. I didn't feel a connection, which is fine. After the call, I didn't hear back. I emailed them, but still no response. It felt unprofessional.
