So, the interview for the Assistant Lifeguard job at Wet’n’Wild was done over video, which was pretty cool and easy. I did it from my place, in a spot where it was quiet, and honestly, being comfy at home made me feel way more relaxed. The person interviewing me asked some pretty standard stuff about situations and dealing with customers, like what I'd do if a guest wasn't following the rules or how I keep my concentration during a long day. They also wanted to know why I applied for the job and if I'd ever worked on a team before or been in an outdoor job setting. It was all pretty simple and chill, and the video chat thing made it super accessible.

So the interview was pretty straightforward. First, there was a fitness test, which included a swimming test and treading water. Then we had a brief sit-down where they asked some questions. After passing the swim and interview, there was about 3 days of training, covering aquatic safety for 2 days and then a day at the park learning to operate the rides.
