The interview process was conducted via text on Microsoft Office, which was a bit unusual but they said it was to have a written record. After that, there was a phone interview that was brief and to the point.

For this role, you'll spend about 2 hours writing two articles. You should bring your own computer and respond to a few questions that will be given to you in a word document. It's not a hard task if you're a decent writer. The people there are really nice.

I was contacted for an interview and then had two in-person interviews, one with a possible co-worker and the second with Kim. After my meeting with Kim, she tasked me with coming up with some ideas for the website, in which we would then have a follow up interview to discuss. The meeting went well, and we had a good conversation, but it was all rushed because Kim said she had to record a show. The follow up interview was scheduled two weeks later due to vacation that Kim was on, and on the day before the meeting I get an email stating that my meeting was cancelled and Kim decided to go in a different direction. No reason given, just cancelled. No message thanking me for my time or energy (and time taken off from busy work schedule), putting together the idea deck, or even feedback into my ideas. It was also quite frightening that I was informed there is no paid vacation for the first year, and then only one week the second year.

I submitted a writing sample and then had one interview. The process was surprisingly easy, and no editing test was involved during my hiring process. The interview itself was with a manager. I did not get to meet with any of the higher ups during the interview process.
