First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at WestRock.
Sales Representative
The interview was really casual and conversational. There were three rounds total. They really focused on my previous sales experience and/or if I had any technical experience that could translate. Everyone I talked to at Smurfit Westrock in the mid-Atlantic group was super friendly and easy to chat with.
- What drives you professionally?
Senior Sales
I applied for a role and went through a quick and dynamic hiring process. First, I had a phone interview with the recruitment team, and then a subsequent interview via Skype with the hiring manager and HR.

Sales Representative
Super quick hiring process. Started with a phone interview, then I visited and met the hiring manager one-on-one. I ended up interviewing with 18 people over two days, though after the first couple interviews, it was mostly just being moved around. They were really accommodating and friendly. It was pretty clear who was making the hiring decision and who was there to give a sense of the company culture, support for the role, and who my potential peers would be.
- Can you travel a lot for this job?
