First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Westminster Communities of Florida.
Director of Maintenance
It was a five-interview process, split between DHs, ED, DOM, Senior Directors, and the VP. They really dug into my grasp of facility management and process improvement, while also looking at how I balance client needs and budget responsibility.
- Can you share instances where you led improvements in maintenance processes to drive change?
- Describe your approach to managing cultural shifts and developing effective maintenance teams, considering technician expectations and resistance.
- Tell me about a situation where you ensured compliance with code requirements and regulations, detailing preventive measures against errors.
HR Administrator Assistant
It was thorough - they asked a lot of questions and the interviewer really cared about the answers Mary was super communicative throughout the whole thing Everyone I talked to was professional and happy to answer anything.
- Tell me about how you've worked as part of a team on tasks and projects.
Certified Nursing Assistant
It was wonderful, just questions that made sense to ask. I was able to meet both people who head each side of nursing departments. They were very personable and were clear on what they expected from staff.
- Why did you choose this profession?
- Would you be flexible to fill in where needed?
- Are there any specific dates or days you need off?
Executive Chef
Applied and heard back about 2 1/2 weeks later. Did a quick phone interview and was then asked to take an online personality test. 5 days after that they called me in for a face to face interview. Met with them for 2 hours and toured the entire facility. 4 Days later they called and asked me to come in and do a cooking demo. Cooked 2 courses and they had great things to say. 10 days later had a phone interview with the corporate culinary director and spoke to him for about 45 minutes. Thought every step of the process went better than average and thought I had the job because they asked me about salary. 8 days after the phone interview had still not heard back, so I emailed the food service director to see what decision had been made, and he never got back to me. This process was a complete waste of my time. If another person was selected, thats fine, I just wish they would have the decency to call me and let me know after stringing me along for almost 6 weeks.
- How would you deal with an employee who didn't follow your instructions?
