It was a pretty slow interview process. I didn't hear back after the technical interview even though I followed up. They seem to be looking for remote freelance consultants, which might be why.

HR got in touch really fast. I was invited to a candidate day in Heidelberg along with two other applicants. The departments then introduced themselves one after another. Afterwards, there was a short task where we had 15 minutes to prepare a 5-minute presentation based on a given scenario. After a small meal, candidates were asked which department they wanted to have a private conversation with. These conversations were then very similar to classic job interviews (e.g., questions).

It was a fast process, with two phone interviews and then one in-person. The first call wasn't technical, more about checking if I was available, if I knew about consulting in general, and asking about travel and how I found out about SAP. The face-to-face included a hands-on systems task where I had to demonstrate some EWM configuration aspects.
