It was a very involved process. I had to prepare and give a presentation. The questions were great. They seemed really excited about me and were interested in my powerpoint, but ultimately I didn't get the job. I had to reach out to them to find out the outcome.

We did a phone interview to check qualifications. For some jobs, there was an online comprehension test. Then an in-person interview to get into financial advisor skills and how you'd fit. We also did a background check and drug test before extending an offer.

The interview process involved a 20-30 minute phone interview, followed by an in-person meeting. HR reached out via email to schedule the interview. Unprofessionally, she missed the first scheduled time and we had to reschedule. At the end of the interview, she asked if my prior experience was more in financial services or IT. I responded financial services. She then stated they were seeking someone with more IT background and therefore could not proceed with my application. I disagree with this assessment, as IT background isn't a primary concern for an internal auditor role. I didn't elaborate on my IT experience with HR because, given the overall experience, it didn't seem like a place I wanted to start my career.

This is a really long interview process. I'd strongly recommend pushing for a phone screener first, as the job details in the interview were quite different from what recruiters initially presented. The very first step is an aptitude assessment, which isn't a coding test. It involves a bunch of puzzle questions, reading comprehension, and tasks that require following detailed instructions. There's another big reason to push for that initial phone screener: this organization seems pretty polarizing. The pay is lower than average, and the work environment is very restrictive, with people coming across as quite judgmental. Honestly, as an employee, I'd be hesitant to make any decisions there. They don't shy away from this; you should probably ask your interviewer about it. The main selling point for W&S is the potential to earn really good money down the line, and they also mention stability. However, the software development roles are contract-based, so I don't really see stability as a perk.
