This is the usual interview process for residence life. They read questions from a sheet, don't deviate from it, and often don't ask follow-up questions. There's an interview with undergraduate students, graduate/professional staff, the Assistant Vice President (which is more of a chat session), and lunch with some other staff.

Got an email before the semester ended asking for my resume and application for next semester's classes. Had to provide three references and at least two recommendation letters. They called me for an interview about a week later. The committee reviewed my application and decided on hiring. They let me know within two weeks after that.

First, I had a phone interview. Then, I went in for an in-person interview. There was also a presentation part to my interview. I spoke with both the Associate Director and the Director. On top of that, we had a meeting where other admissions counselors could ask me questions.

It was a speedy interview setup. There were three stations, each staffed by a head staff member and a current RA. Every station covered a different part of the job. Each one asked around 5 to 8 questions. After 15 minutes, we'd switch to the next station. The whole thing took about 45 minutes.
