I applied online and then had a recruiter screen. After that, I had a 2 on 1 video interview that lasted an hour. They asked some tough questions about my general values and experiences. Honestly, one of the interviewers seemed completely disengaged and didn't even look at me, which really threw me off. A week later, I got a rejection email from a recruiter, which was nice.

The interview process was fair, kind, and in-depth. I got asked a lot of personal and professional questions about my approach and experience. They shared about the company, its ethical mission, and community involvement. They also gave a detailed description of the job, expectations, and various aspects of the role, including parts that were not easy and what would be required of the clinician.

You'll start with a group info session, and then you'll have an interview with the clinical supervisors. You should be ready to talk about how you think about treatment using a social justice perspective. Also, be ready to show you know about attachment (especially for foster kids) and how trauma affects people.

Behavioral Group Presentation

We had 3 interviews and it felt long. First, potential Advocates went to an info session with other youth from foster care, past and present. Then, if they were selected, they had a second panel interview. After that, if they liked you, you had an interview with the program director. They really want to see if you have experience in the foster care system. But don't make up a sad story.
