First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Westborough Behavioral Healthcare Hospital.
Behavior Technician
I met with the unit manager. We talked about the age group and diagnosis for each unit, the qualifications needed, and what a typical workday looks like. We both asked questions about the hospital and the requirements for a BHT.
- Are you interested in working with the specialized needs unit?
Mental Health Counselor
The interviewer was very thorough and descriptive about the position and the work environment. They were friendly and inviting. They were very open and transparent about company challenges and opportunities at Westborough. Overall, it was a really great experience, and even though the pay was less than I was hoping for, the interview and staff made up for it.
- What are your employment desires?
Registered Nurse
You come in and fill out an application, and bring your resume. Then you talk to the nurse manager for about 30 minutes or less. She'll ask you some general questions about yourself and your past work.
- What would you do if there was a problem with a staff member?
- Can you share an experience where a patient was physically or verbally aggressive towards you and how you handled it?
Intake Counselor
Got a quick email asking about my availability for a call. Feeling a bit uneasy though, given the really bad patient reviews online and what employees say on Glassdoor.
- What time works for the follow-up interview?
