First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Westaff.
Client Partnership Specialist
I spoke with the CEO and a branch manager. They were both really nice and straightforward, which was great. Since I'm a former employee, I was hoping for a smoother process, but meeting such great people left me feeling really good about the interview.
- Tell me about your personality.
- How do you handle the demanding environment of a recruiter role?
Light Industrial
I came in and filled out paperwork, then decided to take a typing test. After that, the interviewer reviewed my work history with me. I left when we were done. I had to call them back to find out about jobs because they don't call you back. Placement was offered 2-3 weeks after, and the drug test was done within 2 days of the job offer.
- What's the biggest issue you're facing at your current job?
Technician
I got contacted by the technical skills manager for a potential interview for technical work. They mentioned that while they don't make the hiring decisions for the position I initially applied for, the agency does have temporary work available. The interview itself was friendly and gave me a good idea of what's expected.
- Can you describe your computer skills?
Administrative Assistant
The interview process was professional, but it turned out to be a temp agency, so the quality of the jobs can differ based on the temp agency's experience and contracts.
- Tell me about your work history.
