It was an easy online application. I waited about 2-3 weeks before they reached out about the interview process. Then I had an in-person interview meeting. I got the acceptance email a week after that.

It was a 20-minute phone chat. We talked about my experience and what I'm good at in the field. They asked about my education. They also wanted to know how I'd manage students in a large class. They asked what my plans would be if I got the job. It wasn't a tough chat, and it was nice talking to the search committee member. Just be yourself.

This role came with my scholarship for grad school. The offer was mainly tied to my grad school application. I did visit the department a few months before the official offer and had a short chat with the director. They used my resume skills to decide on my assignment.
