The interview was relaxed and friendly, with the manager not being pushy or creating stress. The manager was very approachable and friendly. The interview was a one-on-one in their clinic at Novena. It's a small clinic, but they have a big project.

The interview wasn't very friendly and it seemed like they were looking for someone who went to West Point. I didn't move on to the next round, which I was okay with because they didn't seem very sympathetic.

The AP position is a 3-year, non-renewable contract. You'd teach one course, four days a week, over a 9-month period, and get a 12-month salary. The contract also means no work obligations in the summer. However, because the contract isn't renewable and considering my age, I won't be moving on. On the bright side, the interviewers were really nice! And, the pay and workload are great for young researchers looking for academic jobs.

I applied through my school's career services website and they reached out to me for an interview. They have great hiring managers. They really try to get to know you and see if you will fit with the company and the position. It's very much a two-way street.
