First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at West End Strategy Team.
Vice President
The interview process was excessively long and disorganized, with interviewers exhibiting large egos. Some interviewers were new and unable to answer questions. Despite the company no longer allowing remote work, two individuals were grandfathered in. The process included two phone screens, a writing test, and a final round interview.
- Can you outline a strategic communications plan and then we can discuss it?
Director
The interview process went pretty fast. For a small company, they are quick to get you in front of people. I think I had about three rounds of interviews. The hiring manager was very responsive. The team seemed really into their work and overall, it looked like a good place to work.
- Tell me about challenges you faced and overcame on a past project.
Strategist
The interview process started with a pleasant first interview. Then, there was a three hour timed writing test. It felt way too long for this early in the process. I'm not sure if they're just using candidates for free work. I wouldn't recommend interviewing here.
- How does your experience align with the needs of the company's clients?
