First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Wespath Benefits and Investments.
Investment Intern
First, there was a 15 minute phone screening that was only behavioral/fit. Then there were two final round interviews, each lasting 30 minutes, with two interviewers in each.
- Could you provide an overview of your resume?
- What sparked your interest in this specific role?
Customer Service Representative
The interview started with a phone screening that went okay. The next part was a Zoom interview, which didn't go as well. They asked me three questions initially, then asked if I had any questions, which I did, asking three of my own. After that, they asked me about three or four more questions. Some questions were phrased differently, but they were asking the same thing. The interview didn't really have a clear conclusion. I felt pretty sure after the interview that I wouldn't be getting an offer.
- Can you describe a time you observed a problem and how you proceeded to resolve it?
- Could you share an experience where you had to learn something very fast?
Analyst
The people were friendly and the process was long. They really like group interviews more than one on ones. It was common for interviews to have people from different teams, which made for some awkward talking because they didn't know each other well.
- What makes you want to join us?
Benefits Determination Supervisor
I went for the Benefits Determination Supervisor role, which is similar to my current job except for recruiting. During the interview, they cut me off a lot when I was talking about my job. The next week, I got a call saying they thought I'd be a better fit for CSR, which I thought was a joke, but I said yes because I'm moving and need income. But then I realized it wasn't for me. I was busy and forgot to cancel the interview. They called 3 minutes after it started and asked if I was joining the GoTo interview, and I said yes so I wouldn't be rude. When I joined, I heard them talking badly about me, so I disconnected and emailed everyone. It was unprofessional. I don't recommend it.
