Behavioral Technical Coding

It started with a phone interview, then a first interview where we talked about my resume projects and I solved a LeetCode question. Then there were two more interviews back-to-back, focusing on ML and general LeetCode. These were like harder versions of the first, with a deeper dive into projects, building ML modules, and solving LeetCode questions.

The interview involved questions on k8s (Kubernetes), Docker, virtual machines, and cloud stuff. I also got asked C++ questions like memory spaces in a C++ program, differences between processes and threads, and what variables threads can share. They asked about Python interpreters, BGP protocol, how routers work, and how VMs connect over a network. Lots of questions about virtual machines, how they differ from Docker, and why Docker is better than VMs.

Confirmed questions7 questions
  • Can you tell me about k8s (Kubernetes), Docker, virtual machines, and cloud-related topics?
  • Regarding C++, what types of memory spaces exist within a C++ program, what is the distinction between processes and threads, and which variables are shareable among threads?
  • What exactly is a Python interpreter?

Coding

I got referred internally and then had a phone screen. If I passed that, there would have been 4 more interviews. I didn't pass the first round though, which was heavy on C++. The interviewer wanted me to code a C++ vector algorithm. Then, we switched to two Python coding questions.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • Tell me about projects from your previous company.
  • Could you write a C++ vector algorithm?
  • Now, could you write two Python coding algorithms?
