First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Wendel.
Energy Consultant
It was a really professional interview. I started with a phone screening. The recruiter was upfront about the job, what they expected, and the pay. They reached out a few times to update me on how the job search was going.
- Can you tell me about your current role?
- What kind of role are you seeking next?
- What made you interested in this particular opportunity?
Sales and Marketing
It was a really friendly and accommodating conversation, not really an interview. You should prepare for questions, but it's not strictly necessary if you have good personal skills. The interview was 2 on 1, but that might've been because I'd be working under both the Sales and Marketing directors.
- Can you tell me about one of your greatest strengths that would benefit you in this role?
Architect
I had two interviews. It was a very typical process for an architecture firm. The questions were good and professional, and the interview was timely. Each interview lasted about 40 minutes. For the second interview, there were people on a video conference call. You need to have a strong portfolio and be able to discuss your projects and experience, and show that you meet or exceed the job posting requirements. Remember to stay positive.
- Could you describe some of your past projects?
- Tell me about the projects and experience you have.
- Do you fulfill the requirements listed in the job posting?
Energy Engineer
It was a straightforward process. They asked about my understanding of the company and its mission. They also asked about me as a person and my hobbies. The interview was casual and comfortable.
- Do you know the different phases/areas in our company?
- Tell me about yourself.
- What are your hobbies?
