Behavioral

It was pretty easy. A recruiter first reached out for a quick phone chat. Then I went in person to meet with the hiring manager. He seemed okay at first, but then I mentioned being gay and his whole vibe shifted. I wasn't really feeling the job anyway, and I think that conversation was a turn-off for him too.

Behavioral Presentation

It was a pretty straightforward process. The HR team was really good about keeping in touch and making sure I knew what was going on. I did wish I'd had more chances to chat with other people on the team and get the lowdown on some of the benefits, but overall, it was a solid interview and I'm glad I got to learn more about the company.

The interview procedure is excessively prolonged, often involving up to 25 sessions across five stages. Interviewers frequently appear rushed and unprepared, failing to take notes, which raises concerns about their competency as future HR leaders. Candidates often feel like mere statistics for the Diversity and Inclusion dashboard rather than valued individuals. Furthermore, the extended interview process seems designed to justify the high salaries of HR executives rather than to fairly and efficiently assess talent. This approach undermines the system's reputation and the candidate's experience.

Behavioral Technical

I interviewed for this job at another location and was a close second. The recruiter reached out and asked if I wanted to interview for the same job at another location, mentioning I had a recommendation from the last hiring manager. I was feeling good about it, but the new hiring manager immediately pointed out my perceived lack of experience and called me "untraditional", saying it was okay for him but not for me. It felt disrespectful and like the interview was over from the start. He spent the whole time bragging about his management skills, saying he wasn't a micromanager while giving examples of how he micro-managed everyone. I felt belittled and that my qualifications, which exceeded the requirements and got me a recommendation, were ignored. It was a waste of time, and I never heard back.
