First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Wellist.
Patient Ambassador
I made it to the second round of interviews at Wellist. They asked if I could come to Boston for an in-person interview the following week, which is about 2 hours away. I said yes and started planning the trip. But then I got a rejection email in the middle of my interviews. When I asked if this was true, I was ghosted. I don't mind rejection, but I dislike being misled into making plans just to get a rejection email during the interview. It's unprofessional to do that; I would have preferred to be told I wasn't a good fit during the interview.
- Describe a challenging situation you encountered.
Resource Specialist
This was months ago and the process probably hasn't changed much. I had 3 interviews, which is already a lot of time for a $50,000/year in-office job. After that, they wanted me to do an assignment on my own and discuss it the next week. That's when I realized I didn't want the job and didn't bother with the assignment. Asking people to jump through hoops for $24/hour in an expensive city isn't cool.
- Tell me about your past experience in a call center.
Patient Support Coordinator
The interview process involved 5 interviews total: 3 conversational interviews, 1 where I discussed an assigned exercise, and a final one with the CEO. It felt like a very long process for the role, giving me the impression of micromanagement and a dysfunctional culture. I expected the final interview to just be a formality, but the testing wasn't appropriate for the role and didn't really indicate how someone would perform.
- Who was your favorite supervisor and what made them so?
- Tell me about your least favorite supervisor and the reasons why.
- Walk me through your past positions listed on your resume and explain your reasons for leaving each.
Vendor Analyst
The interview process was straightforward from the start: first a phone screen, then a round of in-person interviews, and finally an exercise. I got to meet people from different parts of the organization, which was good for understanding how the teams work together.
- Tell me about your unique qualifications.
- Can you share an example of when you worked with different departments to get something done?
