Behavioral Presentation

The first interview was a phone screen, and it was really conversational and casual. The HR manager was nice. When I got to the on-site interview, someone let me into the building. While I was waiting in the lobby, several people asked if they could help me, and everyone was super friendly. During the on-site, I met with the HR manager, the hiring manager, and three members of the senior management team. I talked to each of them one-on-one and showed them my portfolio. It was professional and a good experience. The interviews felt natural and conversational, not like a lot of standard questions.

Behavioral Other

The interview process included a phone screen with the hiring manager, followed by an in-person meeting with the hiring manager and two other team members. The interviewers were quite varied; one was very prepared, another seemed rushed and in a hurry, and the third appeared to be taken aback or defensive. The office environment was generally informal, and the staff were fairly friendly. I was disappointed not to receive any follow-up communication after sending thank-you emails, which seemed a bit unprofessional.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I had a phone chat with HR and the recruiter. Then, I had live interviews with 2 coworkers, the manager, and 2 VPs. I also met with the CEO for an hour. All these interviews were super in-depth, and I got to ask tons of questions. I learned so much about the company that it was obvious I wanted to join.

I had an initial phone chat for about 30-40 mins with the editorial manager. They asked some standard questions. Then they wanted me to come in for an in-person interview at their office. So I went to Dedham. There, I met with the person who invited me, their supervisor, two people from a different department, and two more people from another department. That was a total of six people interviewing me. After we talked, they gave me some tests to check my editing and data comparison skills.
