Technical System Design

It was a pre-placement interview that happened via a 3 stage hackathon with the final round conducted in their bangalore office. While the employees are great and friendly, I'm not that fond of the company's work policies... Which apparently includes no fixed work hours (not in a positive way, you'll be expected to work past your work timings most often and even on Sundays mostly)

There are 3 rounds in the interview process. The goal of each round is to shortlist candidates. The first round involves coding and aptitude tests. The second round is technical. The third round is an HR round. I'd suggest going for the interview because you get to know the whole procedure of how to attend, and you should be well-prepared because there were many tricky questions.

Case Behavioral

I spoke with other business analysts and even some executives, which was fun. WellDoc used a scenario-based interview that allowed me to show off my skills, and I enjoyed that part. Things got weird when I met the CEO. While others asked about my background and skills, the CEO seemed to be trying to trip me up. He then asked two really rude and unprofessional questions, which made it clear he wasn't someone I'd want to work for. Asking about current salary is inappropriate and often used to undervalue candidates, especially women and minorities. It's better to base salary on market value and skills. I was also ghosted by the company after the interview, which lacked professionalism. Companies shouldn't act like they're doing applicants a favor; both sides should bring their best.

Behavioral Other

It was straightforward. I had an HR screening and then an onsite interview with the Hiring Manager. I was ultimately ghosted by this company which is very unfortunate because they required speaking in person. I don't think it's too much to ask for a follow up email (even if it's a no) in this day and age. It's just common courtesy.
