I applied for both Weight Loss Counselor and Membership Enrollment Specialist roles. I'm really hoping for the Weight Loss Counselor position because I'm super passionate about weight loss and health. I've personally lost 70 pounds since having my first child, even with being diagnosed with congestive heart failure. I love helping people, especially those with tough health issues, and want to do this full-time. I applied today and they already got back to me this afternoon asking me to do assessments! I was really nervous about the math assessment and didn't do my best because I tend to overthink and spend too much time on questions. But the personal assessment, which had like 123 or 125 questions, was easier because I could just be honest. I checked out their website and social media and I'm really impressed. Coaching others in weight loss and health is my dream, and I'm ready to start right away with this company. I really hope they give me a chance as a Weight Loss Counselor because I have so much to offer from my life experiences. I'm confident I'd be one of their hardest workers. I love how fast they responded and hope they get back to me soon because I want to start immediately. Note: I haven't received an offer yet, I'm just sharing about the interview process.

The interview process spanned over three weeks. Initially, the first two interviewers were professional, friendly, asked good questions, and were punctual. Following the second interview, I was given a task to respond to two mock client emails as a coach, with the expectation of receiving feedback within three days. After six days with no response, I followed up and was informed by the second interviewer that her manager would contact me that same day. Later that evening, I received an email from the third interviewer, and we scheduled an interview for the next day. Despite having other commitments, I made time for the interview, but the call never happened. I received an email stating she was in a meeting and would call back later, but she didn't. The following morning, I emailed my availability for the next four days, and we rescheduled for the next day. I again cleared my schedule, but there was no call or email. Four hours later, the third interviewer finally called and asked the same questions as the first interviewer. My mock client emails were not discussed. I was told I would receive a call by Monday, but due to Memorial Day, I assumed a delay. It's now four days later, I still haven't heard back, and my follow-up email went unanswered. My current employers had to wait three weeks for my response to their offer, and I assume this position is no longer available. The unprofessional conduct was very disappointing, especially since I was very eager about this company.

My interview experience with Weight Not was very unprofessional. I was asked to provide my availability for an interview, and they took 6 days to respond despite me following up multiple times. On the interview day, the interviewer rescheduled 3 times and was 40 minutes late. This experience, along with two weeks of waiting, made me realize Weight Not exploits customers with their pricing and also exploits workers with low pay and a weak commission structure for high sales targets. After the interview, I was told I'd hear back within a week, either way, via phone or email. I didn't hear back, so I waited another 3 days and then had to repeatedly call and leave messages for over a week to get an update on my application status. I suspect they had already filled the position and were just going through the motions by the time they got back to me after 6 days of me chasing them. I wouldn't want to work there anyway due to their sales compensation structure, lack of professionalism, and dishonesty. The interview felt like a preview of what it would be like to work there. The compensation details revealed during the interview included a $30,000 base pay for the Membership Enrollment Specialist role, with an expectation to sell a minimum of $24,000 per month. The commission, if the $24,000 minimum is met, caps at $1,000 per month. This is unethical, especially considering the lead flow is only about 20-25 leads per month per person, making it extremely difficult to hit the sales target. They also don't list their product or service pricing on their website.

I applied online for a job that was listed with a specific city/state, but it's actually remote. First, I had to do an online test where I answered questions about nutrition. After that, I had a phone interview. The interviewer wasn't very friendly and seemed distracted. She was bothered by the gap in my employment history, even though I explained it in my cover letter (I was home with young kids). She asked why I didn't keep working part-time. It's strange they interviewed me so far along if that was going to be an issue, especially since they could see it on my resume and my online skills test was good.
