The hiring and interview process is very extensive, almost to the point of threatening. They want to make sure you are competent, and when you finally get an offer, the amount of compensation is insulting. My first interview with this company was supposed to be with the Traffic Manager, who called in sick that day, so I spoke with the Assistant Traffic Manager. The second interview was with the Traffic Manager, HR, and the Assistant Manager (again). All of these people were very worried about mistake making and treating management poorly. I was very thrown by this approach and really didn't understand where they were coming from. Then, I was told I would be contacted either way. About 3 weeks later, I had another interview via phone. And then finally, the offer. Compensation was $12,000 less a year than what I was making previously.

I'll be brief. I was strung along for a month not knowing whether I made it to the next round of the interview process or not. This is after I was told at the end of the interview that someone would be in touch next week, and that they have to move quickly on this. I should mention that the interview went very well. I followed up cordially and professionally twice in the four weeks before I got the impersonal HR rejection message. Nobody likes to be strung along like this. There is a more personable, more professional way to go about this.

This was the weirdest and most intense interview I've been through. The interviewer didn't explain their role or let me ask about the company. They admitted they didn't want to interview me and only had 20 minutes. When the time was up, they just ended the call saying, "Well, that's it I guess." They didn't follow basic interview rules and didn't seem keen on discussing my experience. A lot of the time was spent with them complaining and stressing that they need someone there from 9 to 5 every day.
- So what do you know about us?
Post Production
It was pretty simple, we just talked about stuff I've done before. The people interviewing me were cool and seemed interested in what I liked about the show I wanted to work on. It was a phone call, and I got to ask them about what it's like working there.
- Have you watched the show?
