The Wegolook interview process was pretty standard. The onsite was a bit weird; I was met by a developer instead of HR, and he wasn't very engaging. The interview itself was with the developer and an architect, and most questions were technical, with hardly any project management stuff. They talked about their tech stack to get things going. The COO popped in, supposedly by accident, which felt staged because the others smirked. I used the chance to chat with him briefly, mentioning I was from out of town and could meet later. He said he'd be in touch, but it was only five minutes. After the interview, the developer gave me a tour and I met some of the tech team. I finally met HR at the end, but she seemed distracted from a meeting. Leaving, I knew it wasn't a good fit because the whole onsite felt disorganized and a bit like a setup.

I applied for the QA position and heard back a few weeks later that they were looking for Customer Service Reps, so I applied for that. Soon after, the HR manager did a phone screening. Surprisingly, the HR manager emailed me the next day suggesting a different position they thought I'd be a better fit for. It was the first time an HR manager took the time to review my resume and find a role I'd excel in. Both interviews were laid-back and informative, with two managers and myself. They asked specific questions but not in a rigid worksheet style. It felt more personal, focusing on my skills, experience, and personality over generic questions. I interviewed for a Community Recruitment role, then a week later for the Customer Service Rep position. About an hour after the second interview, I was offered the Customer Service job. On my first day, I was told my skills were better suited for an Account Coordinator role, which became my actual job. I don't mind the shifts and multiple interviews; it shows they're invested in hiring people who can perform at their best.

I got an email from the company after they saw my QA application and resume. They wanted to interview me for a Customer Service role, and since I needed a job, I agreed. I scheduled with the Floor Manager. When I got there, there was a long wait, and the people who took me in and interviewed me weren't the ones I had scheduled with. It ended up being a two-on-one interview with who would be my direct manager, depending on the team I'd be placed in for Customer Service. Even with the last-minute changes, they were really friendly, it was low pressure, and felt very human.

It was pretty straightforward and mostly about personality. They really want to see if you'll fit in with the team and can easily handle changes in the department. Meshing well with the company is key, and they'll try to gauge that.
