The interviewers were really kind and the design team was super sweet. They'll go over your portfolio with you and ask some questions, so it's pretty laid-back. I think I was just a bit too relaxed about it and didn't have enough experience to really compete.

I applied online for a few positions, I had such high hopes for this company but I had a terrible experience. The interviewer reached out to me to set up a meeting and I followed up immediately. On the day of the interview, I waited 40+ minutes for him to show up - he did not and did not provide any reasoning. It was a complete waste of time and disrespect to a person's time. After a week of being ghosted, I reached out to another recruiter on linkedin to see what is going on but they just blocked me. Extremely unprofessional and really saddening experience from a person who admired the company.

The interview process was very intense. It started with a screening with HR that went well. Then, I was given a skills test which involved me doing free work for them and coming up with a lot of social media tactics and marketing campaigns that they could use without offering me the job. I spent hours on my presentation only to be ghosted and rejected with no feedback. The interview was also incredibly strange, and the panel asked me invasive questions. They seem like nice people, but very disorganized and were profiting off of my interview labor.

So I had 3 rounds total. First was with HR, then the team lead, and finally the head of the department. They scheduled interviews pretty fast, and HR was really great at keeping me updated. My main issue was that the job description made it sound like there was room for growth, but the head of the department had totally different expectations. She seemed to want someone with way more experience than what the job posting listed, even though she also said the only real requirement was someone who was really curious. It was kinda confusing trying to explain my experience and soft skills because of that. When I got to ask questions, she seemed a little impatient, which was a bummer 'cause I feel like we're interviewing them too, you know? I was really interested in the job and liked their mission for creatives, but that experience left a bad taste in my mouth, even though I didn't get the job. (Also, heads up, you might want to ask about layoffs when you ask questions, 'cause I heard they were having some.) Everyone's experience is different, so take this with a grain of salt, but I hope this helps! Good luck!
