First, I spoke with HR, then I had a workshop session with two team members. They asked me questions about my experience in a similar role. After that, there was an in-depth assessment, and finally, I met with the hiring decision-maker.

I was first reached out to by a recruiter on LinkedIn, and we scheduled an initial phone screen which was pretty standard and chill. Then, I had a video call with two Engineering Managers for the first round; they asked about my background and some technical stuff related to my experience. The second round was a take-home coding challenge that I had about a week to finish, though they were cool about extending the deadline if I needed it. This test was relevant to the actual job duties, and they were available to clarify anything. Lastly, I had a video chat with the Head of Technology to go over my experience in more depth and discuss Webstacks development. I was pretty sure I was going to get an offer, but things changed on their end, and unfortunately, no offer was extended. Still, their interview process was pretty solid.

Had 2 zoom interviews, then was given a take home assignment. The assignment was a 4 slide deck presentation on DE&I, which felt redundant to questions asked in the zoom interviews. Spent 3 hours on it. They ended up going with other candidates for this part-time, $20/hr role.

Behavioral Case Presentation

The interview process with Webstacks was fantastic. A recruiter reached out to me via LinkedIn to set up an interview with the Biz Ops Manager. The first round was focused on culture fit. The second round was with the Head of CS to go over the role and my experience/skills. I was then given a situational prompt and asked to present a QBR powerpoint. The final round was a presentation to the Head of CS and Head of Growth. Overall, the process was very smooth and respectful. The recruiter, Nicole, was top notch!
