First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Wealthspire Advisors.
Accounting Intern
I had one round of interviews and never heard back, even though it seemed easy. I asked about my application status and got no response. There was a pre-interview video requirement, followed by two extra rounds.
- What makes you want this job?
Client Service Associate
I had one phone call with a recruiter first, and then I would move on to speak with people from the office. The office you interview in depends on their needs. The first call was all behavioral and felt very much like a conversation.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- Could you walk me through your resume?
Office Coordinator
I had three Zoom interviews with different people in the departments. Then I had one in-person interview with some higher-up leaders. During the Zoom interviews, they said it was a hybrid position. But at the in-person interview, they made it clear that hybrid or remote work would never be an option. They also asked if I was comfortable with phone calls, making a comment about my generation not liking them, even though my previous job was a recruiter and I was on the phone constantly. It felt like they weren't on the same page and were ageist towards younger people. I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a welcoming or accepting environment.
- Can you share an experience where you did something you initially didn't want to do but are grateful for in hindsight?
Intern
This was a two round interview process. The first round was with the internship coordinator and the second round was with two associates. Both interviews were conducted virtually via zoom. They were casual and pretty easy going, mostly asking fit-based questions.
- Can you tell me about a job or experience you've had that isn't listed on your resume?
