Account Coordinator
This interview process dragged on for two months, which involved me constantly emailing them to find out about the next interview since they assured me I'd moved on after each round. At one point, it took them 2.5 weeks to respond to my email about the next interview, which would've been my fourth. When they finally replied, they told me it was between me and one other candidate. Then, they took another week to tell me I didn't get the job. The whole thing took 2 to 2.5 months, and it felt like a huge waste of my time and really disrespectful. They seemed super unorganized.
- Have you had prior experience with PR programs?
Intern
I was emailed within a couple weeks to schedule a phone interview. I talked with an account executive. It was a standard phone interview where they asked about my experience and why I wanted to work for DBC. After that, we scheduled an in-person interview. When I got to the office, three account executives interviewed me. Each one reviewed my resume and experiences with me.
- Who would be your choice of person to sit with on a plane for an hour?
Intern
The interviewer was super fast responding to my follow-up email about my application. She was really chill about setting up a phone interview and was really friendly. We talked more about my resume, what I've done, and when I'm available.
- Could you give me an overview of your resume?
Account Coordinator
I got an email to set up a phone chat. We talked about my experience and resume. She then told me more about the job and asked if I'd be okay with moving to New York. She said she had more people to talk to and would let me know. I never heard back.
- Could you tell me about your main responsibilities in your previous position?
