I had an initial screening call for the Sr Financial Backlog Analyst role. The HR person was supposed to join but didn't show up for 15 minutes. I tried contacting her via email and phone. She eventually reached out, claiming she'd sent a reschedule email that I never got. Then she called and asked if I was free to talk, admitting she forgot to send the reschedule email. We had a video interview where she recorded our conversation. She promised an update later and was overly nice, likely to compensate for her unprofessionalism. I never got any feedback.

It was a panel interview, with about 5 to 6 separate interviews with managers from different departments. These were spread over a few days in one week. The interviews had different difficulty levels and asked different types of questions. Some were technical, and others were more conversational.

I had a really bad experience interviewing for the Budget Analyst job at WGC Clinical. It felt like they were rushing me and looking for excuses to reject me, like they didn't really want to hire anyone. They even cut short my chance to ask questions at the end. The whole thing felt unfair, especially with the tech issues on Zoom. The questions they asked didn't even match the job level. It was a negative experience overall, and I wouldn't recommend interviewing here based on other reviews. The interviewer also made some racist comments, which made it even worse.

Behavioral Technical

I started with a 30-minute phone chat with a recruiter. They asked me about my background, why I'm looking for a new job, what I value in a workplace, if I'd used a metrics-based system before, and why I'd be a good fit. After that, I got two assessments: one on computer literacy and internet knowledge, and another on Microsoft Word. The next business day, I found out I passed and they wanted to schedule a virtual interview for the day after. So, I had a 45-minute virtual interview over Teams. They asked me 5 behavioral questions and told me more about the job and company. I also got to ask them questions. Then, I waited a day and a half for a response, only to get an automated email saying I didn't get the job. I was bummed because I expected a more personal rejection after chatting with everyone who was so nice.
