First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at WCF Insurance.
Data Scientist
Recruiter reached out and helped schedule interviews for the 3 rounds. First round was with the hiring manager, then with leadership in the department. HR was involved throughout the process. The hiring process was smooth and fast. Got an oral offer on the same day as the last round, and the official offer came two days later.
- Do you have experience with SQL?
- Can you discuss your Python skills?
- Tell me about your experience with modeling.
Business Intelligence Developer
The interview was confusing because they asked specific questions without giving me context to answer them. They didn't seem to care how I would solve a problem, just if I knew the answer to a question without context.
- Programming questions without context
Rotational Internship
I had an online interview first, with some standard questions. Then, I had an in-person interview where they asked more typical questions and told me about the role and company. They said I'd hear back in a week, but it's been over a month and I still haven't heard anything, which is really unprofessional. They ghosted me after expecting me to be in touch, and I wouldn't suggest applying here because they'll just waste your time.
- Can you share an instance where you successfully dealt with a challenging circumstance?
Business Analyst Intern
It was a two-round interview process. The first round included HR and the hiring manager. The second round involved HR, the hiring manager, and the tech lead. Most of the questions were about my resume and the specific role. The process went smoothly, and I heard back from HR quickly.
- Can you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses?
- What made you decide to pursue a Business Analyst role?
- Could you explain your understanding of what a Business Analyst does?
