Had 2 phone interviews and then an onsite, all in about a month. The first call was with a recruiter who asked some basic stuff. Then I had a second call with someone in the role already, but they seemed pretty clueless and didn't know much about the job I'm applying for. After that, they invited me for an onsite where I spoke with 4 other people, each asking about 5 questions, and it went for over 2 hours. The last person I met was the CEO, and they didn't seem very enthusiastic about being there. A lot of the questions weren't really about my experience, more like hypothetical situations ('if this happened what would you do?') and past experiences ('when has this happened and what did you do?'). I get the idea, but about 20 questions felt unnecessary. They seem to be looking for a specific personality type that will just follow instructions rather than someone with their own ideas. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview process began with a standard phone screening. The second interview was a bit lengthy, involving multiple back-to-back half-hour sessions with different people. I suspect this was to assess if my energy levels remained consistent throughout. The third stage required a 5-minute mock presentation to pitch a client. It wasn't overly challenging, though I felt a lack of engagement from the team during my pitch. Overall, the experience was alright, but similar to other companies, they seemed to prioritize a certain 'type' of person over experience. I'd probably only recommend this organization to someone who fits a specific mold (young, single or newly married, maybe leaning towards a 'hipster' vibe), regardless of their qualifications.

The first call with the recruiter was a bit late, but I figured 'things happen'. It was mostly standard stuff like 'What's your biggest weakness?' since it was just a phone screening. The second interview had to be rescheduled because of a meeting, which I understood since it's a fast-paced startup. Then, in the second interview, my potential manager said he couldn't hear me because of connection issues and offered to hang up and call back. He never did. The next day, I got a generic rejection email. Honestly, it was one of the worst experiences I've had as a candidate.
