There were two interviews. The first one had a Director, a Clinical Supervisor, and a Clinician. The second interview was with several clinicians and the same Director. Despite some interruptions due to the residential nature of the setting, everyone seemed positive. However, in the second interview, the Director appeared to have already decided against me and repeatedly brought up negatives like the salary being lower than I wanted, frequent overtime, and frequent home visits. I eventually decided to leave, not because of those conditions, but because I felt I was being bullied and disrespected.

I wanted to share my thoughts on interviewing with Wayside. Although some parts were good, I was really disappointed and worried about other parts. The hiring process was super slow, which made it hard to plan things, especially since I'd turned down other jobs because I believed in their mission. I ended up feeling pretty let down. I was initially happy with how they communicated, but they didn't follow through on a lot of what they said. They promised follow-up calls and more info, but nothing happened. It felt disorganized and like they didn't value me as a candidate.

You'll meet with about 4 or 5 people in a conference room. They'll review your resume and ask about your past experiences. You can expect hypothetical questions too. They're trying to understand your goals and values to see how you'd fit in with the company.
