Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

The interview process at Quizizz was pretty unique. It kicked off with a deep dive phone call with the TA team. They explained the company's business, the roles, and how the process would work, and also got to know my background and goals. The whole thing had three parts: an initial call, three rounds all in one day at their office (super convenient!), and then an assignment presentation you could do remotely or in person. Round 1 (remote) focused on past projects, prioritization, and data, lasting about an hour. They gave feedback the same day and highlighted areas to work on. I got to pick my date for the office rounds. Round 2 (office) was about business understanding and identifying opportunities. Round 3 (office) covered UX, GTM strategy, and MVP. Round 4 (office) mixed behavioral, product sense, and cultural fit questions. They really take care of you there – snacks and a free meal during breaks, plus goodies afterward. Debrief was the next day, followed by a call for the final round with an assignment. I had total flexibility on when to submit it. They even set up a call with a senior PM to help with any questions, and the TA person gave some good advice on tackling it. Round 5 (office) was the assignment presentation. The assignment wasn't about their product but a well-known global one, and you didn't need to submit it beforehand. It really tested all PM skills: problem discovery, creativity, feasibility, trade-offs, wireframing, planning, and measurement. I found out the outcome the same day and got an offer discussion soon after. The entire process, from the first TA call to the offer, wrapped up in under a month. I appreciated their focus on transparency, quick communication, and flexibility.

I applied online and also through an internal recruiter at Quizizz in 2022. The interview process included several rounds. Initially, there was an Intro Call with HR, followed by technical rounds. I'd really suggest the hiring team be more considerate of both interviewees and interviewers. For instance, I was sick and dealing with other things, but I still showed up to respect everyone's time. Getting rejected is fine, but being rejected after the background check and technical skills screening due to new requirements just felt off.

Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

The HR communication was really clear and the whole process moved fast. There were three main parts: First, a screening with a founder to go over my background, past work, key projects, and how I approached them. Then, I got a take-home case study. Second, a deep dive with both founders on the case study, starting with the questions I was asked and then branching out based on my answers and perspective. They really tested all sides of product management – business sense, design, tech, the works. It was a super challenging round, unlike others, because they really dug into my answers to understand my thinking. They cared more about my approach than just the 'right' answer, and a solid problem-solving method really helps. The founders were nice at the end, spending time giving feedback. Third, it was about culture fit, asking about my personal and career aspirations and how Quizizz fits into that.

  • Walk me through your significant projects and the methodologies you employed.
  • Please present your solution to the assigned take-home case study.
