My interview experience with Wavin in Sweden was really great. I spoke with David, and it felt more like a friendly chat, but still professional. The whole experience was amazing because I didn't feel stressed or panicked at all. I was able to be myself and talk about my achievements and skills.

I applied on LinkedIn and was contacted for a screening phone interview within two days. The scheduling was messy, with the invite time and method not matching the email, and I got no clarification, so I was unsure if or when the interview would happen. The initial interview was a straightforward chat with an HR recruiter. I sent a follow-up email with extra info and relevant articles, but got no reply. Less than a week later, Wavin let me know I was selected for the next round with the hiring manager. They asked for my availability but didn't say how long the interview would be. Then I got a video interview invite with a specific date and time. The interview had high-class questions and was very insightful and open. I was told I'd get feedback within 3 working days as the hiring manager was going on vacation soon. Nothing came after 3 days. I emailed both the recruiter and hiring manager. The recruiter's out-of-office reply had no return date, though they did see my email. 3 days later, still no word. I reached out to the hiring manager directly. He apologized, explaining that usually a debrief call is done, even for unsuccessful candidates. He shared his feedback: it wasn't a skills issue, but the organization wasn't a good fit for my expectations. I thanked him. It's now been 5 weeks, and I still haven't heard from the recruiter.

Standard interview process over teams for a role at the Chippenham, UK site. I felt like the company cared more about the processes my previous employer held rather than what I could bring to the table. I’m certain this interview was a way for them to dig into my previous company due to their staff leaving for them. I chased for feedback multiple times even though it was clear I was unsuccessful from their radio silence. Hugely frustrating that they can’t even be bothered to reply to emails or offer a feedback after I gave my time to attend the interview. Says a huge amount about the culture and attitude of the company.

The interview process kicked off with an HR call, which was quite professional. Immediately following that, I had a meeting with the hiring manager. They hadn't given me any heads-up about this second meeting. During this conversation, the hiring manager commented that I appeared too young and that they were seeking a candidate who seemed more senior. It felt like a waste of my time, and thankfully, I quickly realized this wasn't a place I'd want to work.
