It started off pretty standard. A recruiter reached out on LinkedIn and I had an initial phone chat with them. I didn't hear back for about a week, so I followed up and was told they weren't filling the position anymore, which felt like a bit of a red flag. Anyway, about three weeks later, the recruiter contacted me again and said they'd changed their mind and wanted to schedule an in-person interview. I went in and met with three people. The first two seemed more interested in talking about themselves than getting to know me, and they also spoke negatively about my previous employers, saying things that weren't true, which was weird because I actually liked my past employers. The third interviewer was from the training team and was there because they were short-staffed. She was nice but asked a lot of processing-related questions to check my knowledge, which was fine. They hinted that I might not have enough experience, which was odd since they had my resume. A few days later, I got a generic email saying they were going with other candidates. On the same day, the original recruiter messaged me on LinkedIn to see if I was still interested in interviewing.

I got contacted via LinkedIn right after I applied. The recruiter wanted to meet for coffee off site. It was a surprise since we hadn't talked on the phone or anything to see if we were both interested. So I went on site for a quick, casual interview. They gave me all the paperwork and application and said they'd call to set up another interview with the hiring manager. I did the paperwork and waited about 10 days. I didn't hear back from Waterstone, so I checked in. They told me again they'd call soon to set up an interview. I waited and never heard back from anyone.

The whole hiring process lasted about 2 to 3 weeks. After I applied online, I had a phone chat a few days later. Then, I went in for 2 in-person interviews over the next two weeks. The first in-person interview had 3 interviewers, and the second one had 2 interviewers (one from the first interview and then the VP). Everyone I met was really nice and easy to talk to. The interviews focused on my background and past work experience.

They reached out after I sent my resume. They set up a phone interview and said they'd call me in a day or two to set up an in-person interview. I never heard back from them. After about 6 days, I called to follow up and see if they went with someone else or what the status was. They never called me back.
