First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at WaterOne.
Development Team Lead
The IT Director recruited me. We had a phone interview, and then met up at a restaurant after 5 pm. He told me about the job and salary offer. I wasn't going to accept because it was low, and I didn't like the title Team Lead since I've been a director/manager for years. He promised it was temporary and he'd make me a full manager with a big raise. But he never did and then denied saying it.
- Would you be open to leading change in a long-standing company culture?
Auditor
The interview itself was very straightforward, and they are very nice. Simply looking for college kids to fill in and open and close fire hydrants. Not much to it. Here are more words for the minimum
- Tell me about a challenge you have faced and how you overcame it.
GIS Analyst
This was for an internal position that got really delayed by the HR Director at the time. The interview panel had three people: an HR generalist, the IT Director, and the IT Manager.
- Can you tell us about the skills you possess that would be most advantageous for this role?
